18 year old woman shot up
About 10:51 p.m. Friday night, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side. The woman was in the 300 block of West 61st Street when someone inside a red vehicle westbound on 61st fired shots; the woman ran from the area but was hit by gunfire.
Police found her at about 60th Street and King Drive several blocks away, lying on her back with gunshot wounds to her back and left wrist.

26 year old shot dead in-where else? Englewood
Shooting happened about 12:15 a.m. on the 5900 block of South Union Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood, police said.
Police responded to a call of a person shot and discovered a 26-year-old man lying unresponsive in a vacant lot with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Kenny Garner, of the 100 block of West 112th Street in Chicago.

2 killed in separate South Side shootings
Two men were shot to death late Thursday night in separate incidents on the South Side, police said.
At 10:22 p.m. in the West Englewood neighborhood, a 30-year-old man was standing on the 6600 block of South Seeley Avenue when his attacker approached him and opened fire, according to police.
The assailant then sped away east on Marquette in a gray four-door car, police said.
The man who was killed was identified as Walter Brown, of the 6500 block of South Hoyne, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. He was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at 11:10 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

About an hour after that shooting, at 11:25 p.m. in the Englewood neighborhood, a 24-year-old man was found on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds in the 5700 block of South Emerald Avenue.
He was identified as Gartania Prince, of the 6100 block of South Wabash, a medical examiner's spokeswoman said. He was dead on the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
No one was in custody for either shooting, and Wentworth Area detectives were investigating.

1 killed, 10 more injured in overnight shootings
A man was killed and at least 10 people were wounded in separate shootings around the city, beginning with a violent half hour on the South Side.
The one fatality occurred at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the Englewood neighborhood, one of five shootings that occurred within 30 minutes Saturday night on the South Side. A man identified as Kent Richardson, 55, was fatally shot in the 6200 block of South Laflin Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office and police. He lived in the 1500 block of West 77th Street. He was pronounced dead at 12:43 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

4 dead, at least 9 wounded in shootings overnight
Four people were killed and at least 9 wounded in overnight shootings on Chicago's South and West Sides.
The violence began about 9:24 p.m. in the Lawndale neighborhood when a 19-year-old was fatally shot in the 1400 block of South Trumbull Avenue.
A minute later at 9:25 p.m. in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, a 23-year-old man was shot and killed in the 300 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue.
At 9:45 p.m. in the McKinley Park neighborhood, a 17-year-old girl was shot in the side in Hoyne Park in the 3400 block of South Hamilton Avenue. A male on a bicycle rode up, got off his bike and fired shots through a fence into a crowd, hitting the girl, police said. Her condition had been stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital, but an exact condition was unavailable.

The man, 45, suffered a gunshot wound in his foot and was taken to University of Chicago Hospitals in good condition. The woman, 41, was shot in her arm and was taken in good condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.
At 11:57 p.m. in the Gresham neighborhood, two 16-year-old boys were walking in the 1300 block of West 79th Street when an attacker approached and fired at them, striking them both in their legs, according to a police news release. Their conditions had stabilized at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Group shoots man dead in South Side gangway
A 22-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday evening on the South Side in the city's Fuller Park neighborhood, officials said.
Witnesses told police that at about 6:30 p.m. they saw a group of males walk into a gangway on the 5500 block of South Princeton Avenue and soon after heard gunshots. The group reemerged, then got into a van and fled south from the scene.
The victim was identified as Malik Dunlap of the 1300 block of West 98th Place, according to a spokeswoman for the Cook County medical examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at 9:35 p.m. at the Stein Institute.
