Woman accused of tossing 4 newborn pups into pond

A Northwest Side woman is accused of hurling her boyfriend's four newborn puppies into a pond and drowning them.
Frances Blake, 45, of the 3500 block of North Narragansett Avenue, was charged Thursday with aggravated animal cruelty and animal torture.
Police say the incident occurred on July 3. A neighbor told officers she saw Blake "tossing four helpless two-day old puppies into a pond'' in the back of Blake's home.  The next day, the neighbor pulled the puppies from the water and called the Department of Animal Care and Control.
Police went to her home with a search warrant on July 13 and heard several dogs "whining and yelping in distress,'' but they could not make contact with Blake.
On Thursday, officers were able to get into the home and found seven other dogs: an 18-month-old white male "with visible wounds," a 3-year old brown and white "emaciated female," and five 17-day old puppies.
"That's my girlfriend. She killed my four puppies,'' Blake's boyfriend told Jefferson Park officers in the home.
At the police station after she was arrested, Blake told police, "If I did it, I don't remember doing it,'' the report said.
The surviving dogs were turned over to Animal Care and Control.

Man with saggy pants booted from plane after dispute

A  man was kicked off a Spirit Airlines flight at O'Hare International Airport over the weekend after he became "verbally abusive" to flight attendants who asked him to to pull up his sagging pants.
The man and the woman he was traveling with Sunday morning became "verbally abusive," threatening physical harm to flight attendants who had asked him to pull up his pants, which were "excessively low," hanging below his buttocks. The man was boarding the Orlando-bound plane when flight attendants spoke to him.
When law enforcement arrived, the two Spirit customers gathered their things and deplaned.
The man and the woman who were escorted off the plane were booked on the next Spirit flight available for their destination.

12 arrested after occupy clowns toss frying pan at officer

White Trash Dumbass
Twelve protesters were arrested after a scuffle with police on Michigan Avenue at Ohio Street that left five officers injured, including one hit in the head with a frying pan.
Gary C. Wagaman, a 30-year-old Michigan resident, tossed the 8-inch pan at a police line and hit an officer assigned to a bike unit Wednesday evening. The officer was wearing a helmet.
The incident touched off a skirmish that led to the other 11 arrests as others in the group tried to stop police from getting to Wagaman. The 11, ranging in age from 18 to 38, face a variety of misdemeanors related to the protest.
The protesters had been using pots and pans to make noise during a march up the Mag Mile.
Many of the protesters were associated with the Occupy Chicago movement.
Wagaman was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer

White Trash Intoxicated man passes out on street with son, 4 (Where's the arrest and charge for child endangerment?)

A passerby noticed at least one pair of feet sticking out from underneath a blanket after Krokson fell asleep with his son in a parking lot at Elston and Hamlin avenues, and the witness called 911 about 2:30 a.m..
The 4-year-old boy was “shaking due to exposure,’’ according to a police report, which said the temperature was 51 degrees and the boy was wearing a button-down shirt with a sweatshirt, pants and shoes.
He was immediately placed in a squad car to keep warm and officers tried to awaken Krokson, who was “incoherent, highly intoxicated, and unaware of his surroundings’’.
Father and son were taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital where they were both listed in good and “stable” condition.
When police reached the child's mother by cell phone she told officers they had all been at family party at Kimball and Elston avenues – about two blocks from their residence -- when Krokson decided to walk home and the boy decided to go with him.
She followed them in her vehicle but said because of the heavy fog, she was unable to find them, so she went home.
When she did not find them there, she began to drive around and look for them again, but eventually went back home a second time.
Police notified the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

WHITE TRASH SAVAGES MAKE THEIR APPEARANCE- WHITE TEENS KILL BLACK MAN

Jackson, Mississippi (CNN) — On a recent Sunday morning just before dawn, two carloads of white teenagers drove to Jackson, Mississippi, on what the county district attorney says was a mission of hate: to find and hurt a black person.
In a parking lot on the western side of town they found their victim.
James Craig Anderson, a 49-year-old auto plant worker, was standing in a parking lot, near his car. The teens allegedly beat Anderson repeatedly, yelled racial epithets, including “White Power!” according to witnesses.
Hinds County District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith says a group of the teens then climbed into their large Ford F250 green pickup truck, floored the gas, and drove the truck right over Anderson, killing him instantly.

Packs of 'fence-jumpers' rush Lollapalooza Actin like white trash

Lollapalooza organizers have said that instances of fence-jumping – music fans trying en masse to get through gaps in security without paying – are particularly high at this year’s festival.

At Grant Park this afternoon along Jackson Drive, packs of hundreds of teens could be seen roving the fringes of the festival, gathering themselves into groups of a dozen or two and rushing at openings in the fences and barricades, apparently testing security in the hope that a few among their ranks would make it through.
In most instances guards converged and chased them off. At one point, guards sprayed teens with a fire extinguisher, prompting cries of “It’s tear gas!” “Music should be free!” and “Book it!”
The teens dispersed in all directions. Soon however, their roving resumed, and the scene repeated.
Festival organizers say groups of up to 300 people have been spotted trying to storm the fences. This year’s event is the seventh time it has been held in Grant Park and a spokesman said there has been a steady increase in fence-jumping.
Most of the incidents were happening on the lake side of the park, along the stretch of the park just west of Lake Shore Drive.

White trash guilty of 2nd-degree murder in death of white trash street artist vandal

A Criminal Court judge today found a man guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal 2008 stabbing of a street artist in Chicago.
In rejecting a first-degree murder conviction, Judge Thomas Hennelly ruled that Kirk Tobolski had acted with "sudden and intense passion" when he stabbed Brendan Scanlon during a melee in an alley.
Tobolski, who has been free on $500,000 bond since October 2008, hung his head after Hennelly announced the verdict.
He waved to family members as deputies took him into custody.
Police found Scanlon dead with a stab wound to the heart on June 14, 2008 in the 3000 block of West Palmer Boulevard.
According to testimony during the trial the trouble early that morning began after police broke up a house party across from the OhNo!Doom art gallery, where Scanlon and his roommate, James Cackovic, had attended an exhibition.
As the crowd from the busted party milled at Lyndale Street and Sacramento Avenue, Scanlon and Cackovic attacked and pummeled Neil Barakat, whom they'd recognized from an altercation during a gathering at their apartment months earlier.
Prosecutors said even though Scanlon had started the initial fight, it could have ended there. But moments later, another altercation broke out in the alley where Scanlon had fled.
It was during that melee when Tobolski pulled out a switchblade -- a birthday present he'd gotten just a week before -- and stabbed Scanlon once in the chest as he was being pinned by another man, prosecutors said.
Tobolski's attorney painted Scanlon as the aggressor in a "classic Chicago street fight."
"This was a fight caused and instigated by people who were with the victim, and by the victim himself," Beuke told the court in his opening statement.
Scanlon grew up in Madison, Wis., and went to art school in Chicago. Using the alias "SOLVE," he was known across Chicago for his art, which often appeared in unusual places -- on the backs of stop signs, on the glass of newspaper boxes and, on one famous occasion, stenciled on a TV secretly installed on a CTA train.

Aurora woman accused of running over relative with pickup truck (Give us some white folks 2 bash, start actin like white trash)

An Aurora woman was charged over the weekend after she allegedly ran over a relative with a pickup truck during an argument, Aurora police said today.

Heather J. Baumann, 32, of the 600 block of Four Seasons Boulevard, was charged with aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery following the incident, which took place at Baumann’s residence around 11 p.m. Friday.
Police said Baumann and a 32-year-old male relative were arguing over something, and that when Baumann went to leave, the man stood in front of her truck in an attempt to stop her before she allegedly ran over him.

He was taken to Aurora’s Rush Copley Hospital with serious injuries, police said. He remained hospitalized Monday evening. A man who identified himself as the victim’s father answered the phone in the man’s room, but he declined to comment on his son’s condition.

Baumann’s bail was set at $200,000. According to the Kane County sheriff’s department, she posted  bond on Saturday. However, the judge in bond court ordered her to not have any contact with the victim.

Man shot dead in Bridgeport (Taken out like the white trash he was)

A 33-year-old gang member out on parole for multiple burglary convictions was gunned down in the city's Bridgeport neighborhood on the South Side, police said today.
Killed was Jeremy Colanto, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office. Court records list his last known address as the 7500 block of North Sheridan Road.
A medical examiner's spokeswoman gave Colanto's last name as Colanco, an alias he previously used, police said.
Colanto was standing on the street in the 3100 block of South Green Street at about 10:18 p.m. Monday when a passenger in a black van jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire, police said.
Colanto, who was struck in the back, ran a short distance before collapsing on the street and dying at the scene, police said.
The black van fled north on Poplar Avenue.
Colanto was released from the Lawrence Correctional Center last August after serving four years of a 10-year sentence for residential burglary, according to state records. He had numerous convictions for residential burglary dating back to 1999, court records show.
Investigators suspect that Colanto was targeted by a rival gang, but hadn't made any arrests.
An autopsy is scheduled for this morning

Tagging spree brings felony charges for white trash

Ryan R. Sahlin, 29, of the 2000 block of West Iowa Street was ordered held Wednesday in lieu of $10,000 bail in a hearing in Cook County Central Bond Court, according to court records
Officers arrested Sahlin in the 800 block of North Damen Avenue, after other officers apparently alerted them to Sahlin defacing property near the intersection of Damen and Grand avenues about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.

One witness said the graffiti largely consisted of a signature tag, a cartoon  version of the letters “DelvR.”

Sahlin had been seen writing on doors and other parts of buildings, as well as area bus shelters, with a black paint marker, Zala said.

Sahlin was charged with two felony counts of defacement of property and nine misdemeanor counts of defacement, in connection with graffiti on 11 buildings or other property, Zala said.

Among the locations involved were buildings mostly near the intersection of Damen and Grand, including buildings in the 700 and 600 blocks of North Damen Avenue, the 1900 block of West Huron Street and the 1900 block of West Ohio Street, Zala said.

Cook County Jail online information did not indicate that Sahlin was an inmate there, but court records do not indicate whether he has been released on bail.

He is scheduled to appear again in court on June 14 at 9 a.m. in Branch 1 of Cook County Criminal Court
