About 6:30 p.m. Saturday, a gunman on foot opened fire on a man and a woman
leaving a vehicle in the 4400 block of South Princeton Avenue in the Fuller Park
neighborhood.
The woman, who is 33, was struck in the
arm and both legs.
She
was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition,
but her condition was stabilized.
A 44-year-old man who
was with her sustained a graze wound to the neck. He declined medical treatment.

22-year-old man shot in Fuller Park
A 22-year-old man was shot in the foot Tuesday night in the Fuller Park
neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of South Wentworth
Avenue. He walked into Provident Hospital of Cook County with the wound.

About 1:25 a.m., someone in a gray sedan opened fire in the 8900 block of South
Escanaba Avenue.A 41-year-old man sitting in a parked vehicle was struck in the right side and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in serious but stable condition

15-year-old girl shot in Fuller Park
A 15-year-old girl was shot in Fuller Park The girl was shot about 11:10 p.m. near 43rd Street and Princeton Avenue while she was in a truck with four other people, including her cousin.
The truck slowed to see someone the driver knew but the group fled in the truck when they heard gunfire. Police stopped the SUV in the Canaryville neighborhood, in the 4300 block of South Parnell Avenue, and found the girl.
She was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in stable condition
Rapper shot in Bucktown
At about 11:45 p.m. a man was shot six times outside Los Recuerdos club in the
Bucktown neighborhood, in the 2300 block of West Fullerton Avenue. Police identified the man as a rapper named 'Slamma' whose image appeared on a poster directly behind where he had been shot. He was taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
25-year-old man shot in Chatham
A 25-year-old man suffered a graze wound in the 900 block of East 82nd Street. He
was outside about 10:40 p.m. when someone approached on a bicycle and shot him.
He was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital with a chest wound and is in good

Wounded man shoots teen assailant in head
A man pushing his friend in a wheelchair wrestled a gun away from a man who shot him and then shot his attacker in the head on the South Side Friday night.
The 21-year-old man was in the 200 block of Root Street in the Fuller Park neighborhood about 6:30 p.m. when a 19-year-old man approached him and opened fire. The two men were from rival gangs.
The 21-year-old was hit in the arm and upper back and fought with the younger man after getting shot. He was able to get the gun and shot the 19-year-old "multiple" times

A woman was shot with a rifle in the Austin neighborhood The 25-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen while standing in the street in the 200 block of North Latrobe Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood about 11:30 p.m.
Someone in a passing car leaned out and started shooting erratically
The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was in critical condition

16-year-old girl shot in Fuller Park
A 16-year-old girl in the back seat of a car was wounded when someone opened fire from inside a passing dark-colored SUV on Wednesday nightThe car she was in pulled into a gas station at 42nd Street and Wentworth Avenue in the Fuller Park neighborhood about 9:40 p.m.
The driver of the car saw a dark-colored SUV pass by and someone started shooting. The girl was hit in the buttocks and taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in good condition

At about 11:30 p.m. a man was shot in the hand and taken to Roseland Hospital. Someone shot him in the 10200 block of South Prairie Avenue in the Rosemoor neighborhood.

Police warn of armed robberies in Fuller Park
Two or three black men armed with multiple weapons were suspected in two other armed robberies which happened near the Dan Ryan Expressway in the Fuller Park neighborhood on April 16 in the 4800 block of South Wells Street at 4:10 p.m. and on April 7 in the 5200 block of South Princeton Avenue at 2:45 p.m.
The attackers were all described as being black between the ages of 20 and 25, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9, and weighing between 145 and 160 pounds

Two teenagers shot in Humboldt Park
Two teenagers were shot and seriously wounded this afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, among at least 15 people shot since midnight Monday, three of them fatally.Paramedics were called about 4:30 p.m. to the 2600 block of West Chicago Avenue for two people who’d been shot.
The victims, both males in their teens, were shot in the chest and their conditions had stabilized at Stroger.

Also about 2:40 a.m., a 17-year-old male was shot in the right shoulder after an argument escalated into a shooting in the 1600 block of North Kedzie Avenue in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.The victim was in a vehicle in the area of North Avenue and Kedzie when he got out of the vehicle and became engaged in an argument with a group of people. An unknown male pulled out a gun and fired several shots, Estrada said, striking the victim once. He was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital by someone else at the scene before being transferred in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center

A 32-year-old man walked into West Suburban Medical Center after someone shot him above his right eye.The man told police he was shot near the intersection of Division Street and Lawndale Avenue but police weren't able to find a crime scene there.

4 shot at least 1 DOA in Fuller Park
Four people were shot on the 4200 block of South Wells Street at 6:21 p.m..
Two of the victims were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Stroger Hospital, one person was taken to Mercy Hospital in fair-to-serious condition and one person was reported dead on the scene.

Man shot 5 times over iPhone
Anthony "Tony" Kuber was shot five times by a robber who took his iPhone, even
though Kuber was trying to hand the phone over.
The 31-year-old was knocked unconscious during the attack in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side Monday night, and he may not recover the full use of one of his hands.
Anthony Kuber was heading to his father’s home after getting off at the 47th Street Red Line station about 8:35 p.m., and was glancing at his iPhone when two masked robbers confronted him in a viaduct near the Dan Ryan Expressway.
They demanded his coat and they shot him in the chest, arm and leg. They went through his pockets and took his wallet, stole his jacket and his phone. The robbers, wearing black clothes and masks, fled north through an alley where his jacket and his wallet were recovered.
Kuber, knocked unconscious, was taken to Stroger Hospital and placed on a ventilator, but was doing better today and a breathing tube has been removed, Sheehan said. More surgery was scheduled.

At 8:35 p.m., a separate man was shot in the Fuller Park neighborhood in what
appears to have been a robbery.

Truck hits, kills, woman on bicycle
A female bicyclist was struck and killed by a semi-trailer truck in the Fuller
Park neighborhood on the South Side.
The semi was entering the Norfolk Southern facility in the 300 block of West
47th Street around 1:40 p.m. Monday when it struck the female bicyclist and
immediately fled the scene.
The unidentified woman, believed to be in her 40s, was dead the scene.
Evelyn Dean was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. at the scene, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office. The office did not have an address for Dean or an exact age.

2 men shot in Fuller Park
Two men were shot and as they stood on a sidewalk in the 4200 block of South
Wells Street at about 1:50 a.m. A 23-year-old man was listed in good condition
with a gunshot wound to the thighs. A 20-year-old man was listed in "stable"
condition at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center.
