Earlier Friday, Rayshon Williams, 16, was ordered held on $1 million bond after being charged as an adult with murder Sullivan's slaying.
Tuesday night, Rayshon Williams and a second person--identified Friday evening as Derrick Williams--were driving around the West Side, looking for someone to rob. Derrick Williams was driving the car with a gun in his lap, and the two saw Sulivan walking to the Pulaski Green Line "L" stop.
The younger Williams got out of the car, grabbed Sullivan by the arm and demanded money from him, but Sullivan pulled away from him and kept walking.

Rayshon Williams and Derrick Williams were arrested Tuesday when police caught up with them as they rode in the same car they were in when Sullivan was shot, prosecutors said. Officers tried to stop the car, but it took off at high speed, then stopped when it crashed into a squad car. Williams fled the car, but was arrested.
Rayshon Williams admitted to his part in the attack and admitted he knew the driver had a gun before Sullivan was shot.
Rayshon Williams was charged with first-degree murder and robbery, as well as receiving or possessing stolen goods, while Derrick Williams was charged with first-degree murder, attempted robbery and criminal trespass to a vehicle.
Derrick Williams was paroled from prison in May in connection with an aggravated vehicular hijacking that took place about 8:40 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2009, in the 200 block of North Karlov Avenue, according to court and police records.
