30-year-old man shot in Englewood
A 30-year-old man was left in serious condition after being shot multiple times
this morning in the city's Englewood neighborhood.
The shooting happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. on the 6400 South Sangamon Street. The victim was shot several times and taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn
23-year-old man shot in Garfield Park
About the same time the boy was shot, a 23-year-old man was wounded in the
buttocks in the 600 block of North Avers Avenue in the East Garfield Park
neighborhood. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital
