Four young  black children have been shot and wounded this month:

4 Tribune headlines say it all about the dumbass voters of Chicago and Illinois and the criminals they elect

The very people you vote for keep you fighting and divided, making sure the systems are set up for chaos in your communities. The failing public school system makes sure only the lowest playing jobs are available to most public school products and then they flood that job market with Illegal alien low skill workers. They fight "The War on Drugs", while you fight and kill each other on the streets. They push and sensationalize George Zimmerman and Travon Martin to keep you divide along racial lines. Then they turn your dumbasses into begging ass slaves with government handouts of LINK cards, rent vouchers, Obama phones, etc... and not one of these so call leader will open their mouths and speak of parental responsibilities or the importance of a two parent loving household to raise a child in. Instead they back and push for gay marriage and all the while RANKING IN THE CASH.
Wake the fuck up. You and these corrupted ass elites are ruining your communities and children's lives!

Racist animals reply to the Chicago Safari post

From the Comments-

You motherfuckers got the nerves to put two White Bitches on the photo....Prejudice Bitches where will you get your drugs from now. I don't believe this Blog, white people own this only because when an African American make certain comments you white Bitches delete them. Its so sad that you would even make fun of something like this.

Maybe in your world their not animals. But their animals in mine you big ass racist.

*The fool that shot a 5 year old black boy and two others in the West Pullman neighborhood as dozens of other children played in a park is not an animal to you? What is he your hero?

*A 64-year-old black woman has her throat slashed and her car stolen while in her garage and the animal who did it is your hero?

*The animal who shot a 7-year-old black boy in the neck while he played in Cole park in Chatham must be your hero.

At least 74  people have been shot since Wednesday afternoon in Chicago, with 12 of those victims killed. Hey, but the shooters are all misunderstood little angels.

Anyone who is out killing and maiming people is an animal to me.

Maybe you're one of the animals trying to protect your own? But you are surely one big ass, pathetic ass, afraid of the truth, racist.

440,000 SENIOR CITIZENS APLY FOR FREE BUS RIDES, 360,000 CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOL KIDS GET FREE LUNCHES. WHO PAYS FOR ALL THE FREE SHIT?

Residents rally against CHA drug-testing plan (Chanting "Hey, Ho don't take my blow" and "Hey, Ho were's our free internet and computer mofo's)

Requiring Chicago Housing Authority residents to be drug-tested and making it easier to evict tenants with family members accused of crime is unconstitutional and will backfire, residents said today at a downtown rally.

The CHA is proposing to change its lease policy to require all adults renting or living in CHA housing to be tested yearly for drug use, and to make drug testing mandatory for everyone applying to live in CHA buildings.

The revised policy would also make it easier for the CHA to evict tenants who live with someone who commits a crime.

The CHA says it’s responding to residents’ safety concerns and already has a similar drug policy in place in developments that have replaced older public housing across the city.

But residents who rallied outside CHA headquarters at 60 E. Van Buren St. this morning said the drug proposal would violate the U.S. Constitution’s guarantee against unreasonable searches, and would penalize families trying to steer relatives away from drug abuse.

“To single us out for these two policies is unfair and unjust,” said Cheryl Johnson, who had to take her son off her lease in Altgeld Gardens on the Far South Side in 2006 after he was arrested with a small amount of marijuana.

When someone struggling with drug use is no longer under the same roof with family members, it’s harder to influence them to stay off drugs or enter treatment, Johnson said.

If the CHA board does approve the drug-testing policy, it should also require drug testing for everyone who works at or is a board member of the CHA, Johnson and others said.

Julia Mitchell, a resident of Lake Parc Place, said the drug testing would cause “humiliation.”

“This policy is just another way of stereotyping a group of people, based on economic status,” said Mitchell.

Although the policy gives tenants a chance to stay in CHA housing if they agree to drug treatment, residents said it would too easily lead to people being evicted.

Drug testing is already in place at 18 of the 45 mixed-income sites that have replaced the old-style public housing. Only one person has been evicted out of 51 cases in which people tested positive for drugs, according to CHA spokesman Matt Aguilar.

“We will not move forward on this unless we hear what everyone has to say,” Aguilar said.

Court decisions on drug-testing policies for people receiving government may end up blocking the proposed policy, even if it is approved.

Ed Yohnka, spokesman for the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois, pointed to a 1999 decision in Michigan that threw out a state policy requiring Public Aid recipients to be drug-tested. The ACLU is opposed to the CHA proposal, even if some — or a large number — of CHA tenants are in favor of it, Yohnka said.

“As a general proposition, we oppose suspicionless searches,” Yohnka said. “We don’t think that it should be any different if somebody is renting an apartment on the North Side, in the Loop, or in the CHA.”

CHA officials are scheduled to take public comment about the proposal at the Charles A. Hayes Family Investment Center, 4859 S. Wabash Ave., at 6 p.m. Thursday. The CHA board could vote on the proposal in July

Recipients of civil union license: 'We wanted to make a statement'

Every Valentine's Day for the past seven or eight years, Roseann Szalkowski and Barb McMillan walked into the DuPage County Clerk's office to ask for a marriage license, and every year the answer was the same: no.
Finally today Barb McMillan was able to wave the couple’s Civil Union license high in the air and using a play on the Police phrase “Click it or Ticket”, yelled “Ticket and Lick it!”

Cali Swag District Rapper M-Bone Killed In Drive-By Shooting

Hey call me old fashion, call me a stick in the mud, but this Rap Music b.s. is bad music promoting a bad culture of death, violence, crime and irresponsibility.
Early Monday (May 16) morning hip-hop fans were stunned by the news that Cali Swag District member M-Bone died Sunday night, the victim of a drive-by shooting.
Bone, born Mante Talbert, was one-fourth of the group that rose to fame with their 2010 single "Teach Me How to Dougie." Cali Swag frontman C-Smoove tweeted, "Ma life changed drastically in the blink of an eye. rip mbone," early Monday morning.
Inglewood Police Department Homicide Sgt. Brian Spencer confirmed to MTV News that the 22-year-old Bone died of two gunshot wounds to the head in his hometown of Inglewood, California.
At about 10:30 p.m. PT Sunday night, police were called to the 400 block of North La Brea in Inglewood. When police arrived on the scene, they found Talbert seated in the driver's seat of a black unspecified vehicle with at least two gunshot wounds to the head. Paramedics then took him to a local hospital where Talbert eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Witness accounts confirm that the rapper was seated in his car when the gunmen pulled alongside him in a separate vehicle and let off at least two rounds. The suspects fled northbound on La Brea.
Signed to Capitol Records, Cali Swag District made their name with the platinum dance hit "Teach Me How to Dougie," an ode to the dance popularized by hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh. The record's remix featured Jermaine Dupri, B.o.B, Bow Wow and Red Cafe, and their debut album, The Kickback, is slated for a 2011 release.

Protesters greet Wis. Republican in Chicago

Dozens of protesters carrying signs and chanting "Tax the rich" marched outside a hotel in downtown Chicago to protest a speech by Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan.
Ryan is the architect of the Republican budget plan, which includes a controversial proposal to turn Medicare into a voucher program. Although we like the man carrying the RED SIGN. It has a better ring to it.

I wonder if the police stats would show a spike in aggravated batteries, i.e. shootings, if they would report the gang related shootings

Great reader's comment from the story :

I wonder if the police stats would show a spike in aggravated batteries, i.e. shootings, if they would report the gang related shootings (which account for 99% of the shootings in the inner city) Surely, the stats are rigged so that the public won't be alarmed that the gang problem is rampant and out of control. If you live in the "hood" you know that there is someone getting shot every day/night. How can crime be reported to be down? But thank God the police officers are doing the best that they can with limited manpower. It's really critically, dangerously short. If the public really knew the extent, there would be a revolt.
FROM CHICAGO BREAKING NEWS

CAPS Vampire Rises from the Ashes

FROM SECOND CITY COP

It just won't die!
  • Charter schools for dropouts and a “leadership academy” for new principals. An Office of New Americans to support immigrants. Bus rapid-transit lanes, protected bike lanes and designated streets open on weekends only to “non-motorized uses.”
Those are just a few of the ideas packed into the 71-page transition report that will serve as a “scorecard” for Chicagoans to judge their new mayor — and for Rahm Emanuel to hold his department heads’ feet to the fire.
  • The city will launch an “Open 311” system, providing an “easy and transparent way” for Chicagoans to submit and monitor their service requests on the Internet. The report also talks about establishing a “new approach” to community policing in as many as five districts without saying what that new approach would be.
We're sure it involves gobs of our money tossed at reverends with little to no accounting or tracking of results. Anyone feel like betting against us?

Newscasters want out of furniture ad with the Mayor (Chicago news media climbs in bed with with Da Mayor for one last time)

Having climbed into bed with outgoing Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and an area furniture chain, some local TV news people were scrambling to avoid being seen in a figurative walk of shame.

At least a few of the reporters and anchors shown paying tribute to Daley in an ad for Walter E. Smithe Furniture and Design requested they be cut from the spot after Time Out Chicago blogger Robert Feder's Monday post lambasting the journalists for the dual transgressions of appearing in a commercial and sucking up to the city's longtime chief executive.

Robots destroy Chicago in new 'Transformers' trailer

This could be a real headline if you just replace the word "Robots" with the words "Mindless Democratic voters".
Like this....
Robots destroy Chicago in new 'Transformers' trailer

The new trailer for “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” was released today and it features plenty of shots of Chicago –- well, what’s left of Chicago.
The robot-on-robot violence has left much of the city in shambles and, like in the first two “Transformers” films, the kid from “Even Stevens” is involved.

Chicagoans will recognize plenty of the city’s most famous landmarks in the explosion-heavy trailer, including Michigan Avenue, Willis Tower, the Wrigley Building, the Chicago Board of Trade building and our very own Tribune Tower

Parishioners march at cardinal's home to protest Pfleger's removal

About 100 parishioners of St. Sabina marched in front of Cardinal Francis George's red brick mansion today to protest the removal of their pastor, the Rev. Michael Pfleger.
On Wednesday, the  tension that has simmered for decades between Pfleger and the Archdiocese of Chicago came to a head when George suspended the outspoken priest from St. Sabina, the South Side parish he has led for nearly 30 years
As the news spread, some parishioners were furious at the cardinal's decision.
Wendy Wade, who said she has been at the church for almost 20 years, was in tears as she discussed the possibility of Pfleger leaving.
"He has done too much for this neighborhood. Please, Cardinal George, don't do this to him!" she said. "What has he done wrong but enhance the neighborhood, enhance the community to help people?"

Is that right? Let's see what Pfleger ranting and raving from the pulpit has produced. Here are the crime statics for his Community, Gresham (6th District-Jan. 1, 2011-April 19, 2011)

Suspect in 1994 killing arrested in San Diego

A man arrested in San Diego last week as he tried to enter the country from Mexico is believed to be a suspect in a 1994 murder in Chicago, authorities said today. (Don't you just love our sanctuary city and open border policies. Thanks Daley! Thanks Obama!)
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers at the San Ysidro Point of Entry took Alfredo Marin Ramirez, 39, into custody Friday after he requested a waiver to enter the United States, according to a statement from the federal agency.
He needed the waiver because he didn't have the proper documents, but he did give officials his Mexican birth certificate and other Mexican documents, the statement said.
The border officers scanned Marin Ramirez's fingerprints and matched them to that of a suspect named in a warrant issued on April 11, 1994.
According to court records, the warrant charged Alfredo Marin, of the 1900 block of South Loomis Avenue, with a murder on April 2 of that year.
Details of that incident were not immediately known. Another person was charged in the incident, but court records appear to indicate that he was acquitted the following year.
Marin Ramirez is currently being held in the San Diego County Jail, according to the jail's Web site. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.

Chicago's at top as gas prices jump again (Chicago politicians-keeping gas prices high and quality of life low)

The average U.S. price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped about 12 cents over the past two weeks, and Chicagoans are paying the highest average price in the country.
The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices puts the average price for a gallon of regular at $3.88, as of April 22. Chicago had the highest average price for gas at $4.27, with Tucson, Ariz., the nation's lowest average at $3.54,
Analyst Trilby Lundberg said today the national average for a gallon of mid-grade is $4.02. For premium it's $4.13 a gallon.
Lundberg says diesel prices rose 10 cents a gallon over the past three weeks, to $4.19.
In California, the lowest average price was $4.12 in Fresno and San Franciscans paid the highest price at $4.22.
