Will Chicago reach 300 murders and 2000 people shot in 2011?

The Chicago Police Superintendent says Chicago is a safer city.... 4 teens were shot in area where Mayor Emanuel and his fellow liberal status quo keepers are to visit today
As of August 23, 2011 Chicago has recorded over 266 homicides and over 1360 people shot.
