21-year-old man shot in West Pullman
A South Side shooting left one man wounded. He was dropped off at Metro South
Medical Center by his mother after he was shot about 11:20 p.m. Police said he
was shot near 117th and Eggleston streets in the West Pullman neighborhood.
The 21-year-old was walking when he “heard shots and felt pain”. His mother was nearby and drove him to the hospital and from there he was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
22-year-old man shot in Garfield Park
A 22-year-old man was shot in the 4200 block of West Jackson Boulevard in the West
Garfield Park neighborhood. He was standing on a sidewalk when a vehicle pulled
alongside and someone inside started shooting. He was taken to Mount Sinai
Hospital with a wound to his right arm
