A suspect was in custody in the early morning stabbing death of a man in his South Chicago neighborhood residence.
Andrew Hall, 37, of the 7300 block of South Yale Avenue, was pronounced dead this morning at the Stein Institute after a verbal argument turned physical, according to authorities.
During an argument, his assailant grabbed a knife and started stabbing him, police said. The incident happened about 1:25 a.m.
The suspect was taken into police custody this morning, officials said.
So far, no charges have been filed. Wentworth Area detectives were investigating.
