Teen dies day after being shot

An 18-year-old man who was on life support after being shot Sunday afternoon has died from his injuries.
Keith G. Spencer, of the 8100 block of South Damen, was pronounced dead today at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
Spencer, who was pronounced dead today at Christ medical center at 4:15 p.m., had been on life support after being shot at 6:30 p.m. Sunday
Spencer was shot along with a 15-year-old boy in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
Spencer and the other boy were walking west from a gas station at 79th Street and Ashland Avenue.
At the corner of 79th and Paulina streets, someone walked up to them and opened fire, police said. Both victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
he condition of the younger victim, who had been shot in the leg, was stabilized at the hospital.
