Police have released a sketch of a man who they say sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint in her garage in the South Loop.
The attack happened around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of South Clark Street, police said. The woman, 56, was sitting in her car when the man approached, displayed a gun and told her to open the car door.
The man assaulted her, then took her keys and went into her home and robbed her husband.
The attacker is described as black, between the ages of 30 and 33, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 and weighing between 165 and 185 pounds. The man had black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was wearing a black ski cap with red trim and a dark-colored sweater.
Anyone with information was asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
