A boy was shot in the body multiple times in the Gage Park neighborhood about 8:40
p.m. Friday.
The 17-year-old was in the 2900 block of West 56th Street, near Sacramento
Avenue, when someone opened fire.
The boy was taken to John H. Stroger Jr., Hospital of Cook County
Jesus Garcia, of the 5200 block of South Fairfield Avenue, was pronounced dead
at 9:57 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County
