Woman critically wounded in South Side shooting
A woman was critically wounded this evening in a shooting on the South Side
in the city's Englewood neighborhood.
The shooting happened shortly before 6 p.m. on the 6600 block of South State
Street.
Preliminary reports said a 27-year-old woman was shot multiple times in her
abdomen and legs.
She was taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital
