Man found dead with head trauma on West Side

Chicago police have launched a death investigation after a 46-year-old man was found with apparent head trauma in the East Garfield Park neighorhood.

Willy Daniel, 46, of the 1400 block of South Canal Street was found shortly before 6 a.m. on the 3800 block of West Ferdinand Street.
He was found face down on the sidewalk and was pronounced dead at 6:27 a.m. at Norwegian-American Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office
