3 injured, including child, after "caustic" substance tossed in home

Three people were injured including a 2-year-old child after someone tossed a caustic substance through a window in a basement apartment .
The incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. on the 5200 block of West Ferdinand Street. A man and woman were in a basement apartment with the child.
