Man shot in Washington Park

At 11:24 p.m. in Washington Park, a 24-year-old man was shot in the cheek in the 5800 block of

South Wabash Avenue

, a release said. The man was drunk and has gang ties, police said. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he was listed in stable condition.
