19-year-old man critically shot in the head Wednesday in the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side has died, authorities said this morning.
Timothy Wordlow, of the 5500 block of South Wabash Avenue, was pronounced dead at 9:51 p.m. Thursday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Cook County medical examiner's said.
The shooting happened at about 4 p.m. on the 3900 block of South Lake Park Avenue, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Anne Dwyer.
