One of five men wounded in a shooting in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood this week has died, authorities said today.
Killed was Kenneth Rochelle, 53, of the 5200 block of West Gladys Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Rochelle was rushed to Stroger Hospital after he was wounded in the neck in a shooting just after 11 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Keystone Avenue that also wounded four men ranging in age from 21 to 37, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital this morning. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
Police suspect that the motive was gang-related, as Rochelle had ties to a West Side gang, a police source said.
