Slaying of boxer brings 32-year sentence

The Southtown Star reports: Josue Mata, of Honduras, pleaded guilty today and was sentenced to 32 years for being one of two men accused of the July 2007 slaying in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Alejandro Calderon, a 19-year-old amateur boxer who dreamed of going to the Olympics.
