A man was beaten to death by a group of people in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side this morning.
The 50-year-old man was found shortly after 1 a.m. in the 3000 block of South St. Louis Avenue with trauma to his head, police said. He had been beaten by several people, according to preliminary police reports.
The man was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
