A man in his 40s was shot four times by his nephew following a dispute in a Lawndale home this morning, police said.
The man and another man were in a heated argument in a home in the 3900 block of West Polk Street before the man was shot and wounded about 3:40 a.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The man was wounded in the left arm, under his left arm, in his left side and in his lower back, according to a police report.
The attacker was believed to be the man’s nephew, police said.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment, but his condition was not available this afternoon.
