24-year-old man was shot in Washington Park neighborhood
Earlier Saturday afternoon, a 24-year-old man was shot in his upper back on the South Side in the Washington Park neighborhood.

Body of partially-clothed woman found in South Side lot
The body of a partially-clothed woman was found in a vacant lot this morning in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.
The unidentified woman appeared to be in her 30s and was found face down in a vacant lot on the 5400 block of South Calumet Avenue.

Female shot in the Washington Park neighborhood
A female suffered a graze wound to her leg after being shot in the 5100 block of South Calumet Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side, according to a police new release. She was taken in good condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

16-year-old boy shot
A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition at Storger Hospital after being ahot in the face about 3 a.m. this morning in the 300 block of East Garfield Boulevard in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

3 wounded in Washington Park shooting
Two men and a 17-year-old boy were wounded Sunday night in a shooting in the Washington Park neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.
The shooting happened about 10 p.m. on the 5100 block of South Prairie Avenue, said Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.
Preliminary reports stated a gunman jumped out of his vehicle and began shooting, striking the three male victims.
Police said the gunman fled the scene after the shooting. It was not clear if he fled on foot or drove off.
A 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. The second man, also 21, was shot in the buttocks. The youth suffered a wound to his leg. All three victims were taken to Stroger Hospital where their conditions had been stabilized, Greer said.
