A man was injured this afternoon after being shot in the Uptown neighborhood on
the North Side.
The man was shot on the 4700 block of North Beacon Street at about 3:45 p.m..
The man was shot in the stomach and was hospitalized at Advocate Illinois
Masonic Medical Center in serious condition
