Shootings in Chicago October 19, 20 2013

14-year-old boy shot in South Shore
At about 1:30 p.m. in the South Side's South Shore neighborhood, someone shot a 14-year-old boy in the arm as he stood on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of East 68th Place.
The boy was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. He has since been released.
 16-year-old boy shot in Humboldt Park
A 16-year-old boy was shot about 4 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Ridgeway Avenue, in the West Side's Humboldt Park neighborhood.
Police said the boy was shot in the forearm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
2 men shot in West Pullman
A 30-year-old man was critically hurt when someone opened fire during a dispute involving a cell phone early this morning in the Far South Side's West Pullman neighborhood.
About 1:30 a.m., someone opened fire on a porch in the 11600 block of South Harvard Avenue, striking the man multiple times.
A witness told police at the scene he heard about seven or eight shots.
Shortly after the shooting, which happened on the east side of a southbound one-way street, police took a 34-year-old man into custody as a possible suspect. The shooting happened after a party during a dispute about the 34-year-old's phone.
Police said the shooter and the man shot may have known each other.
The 30-year-old was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition.
The 34-year-old man taken into custody was treated for a graze wound to the ankle. It was not immediately clear whether the wound was self-inflicted or whether someone else fired the shot.
The 34-year-old, who was taken to Roseland Community Hospital in custody, has not been charged.
31-year-old man shot in Pilsen
A 31-year-old man was shot while driving his vehicle in the Pilsen neighborhood, police said.
The shooting happened about 5:15 a.m in the 900 block of West 19th Street. The man was taken with a gunshot wound to the leg to the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago, where his condition was stabilized.

Stupid comments like the above are as stupid as gang people are. Only pussies pack guns and don't care if they kill someone or if they piss away their lives. I care, because 96% of tax paying and law obeying people live in all neighborhoods. There are too many guns and obviously the dumb and criminals have the most.

Bad people exist in every race and in every country, so do good people. I just want to say that one should not spread more hate, since the one (hate) that swarms around in the world is already enough of a problem and I truly think that most people like to live in peace with each other. We just need to refocus on what we can do to make things better and not worth.
