Two men are dead after a shooting on the Far South Side this afternoon.
Two others were injured by gunfire in shootings elsewhere in the city this
evening.
About 3:25 p.m., a 22-year-old man and 28-year-old man were shot dead in the
10500 block of South Lafayette Avenue.
Police believe the men may have been shooting at each other, though
detectives are also investigating whether any other people were involved
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the dead as William Aikens,
28, and Martellis Griffis, 22.
