A West Rogers Park man died after the motorcycle he was driving was hit by a
compact SUV in the Edgebrook neighborhood this morning.
Omar Posos, 36, was declared dead at 7:26 a.m. at Resurrection Medical Center
following the accident in the 6400 block of North Navajo Avenue, according to
the Cook County medical examiner's office. Sathiadhas Christadhas, 67, of
Skokie, was cited with failure to yield the right-of-way at an intersection
Posos, of the 6200 block of North Kedzie Avenue, suffered his injuries in a
motorcycle accident
Police were called about 6:45 a.m. to Navajo at Devon Avenue for a
motor-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
Investigators determined that a Honda CRV had been going souith of Navajo
when it was struck by the motorcyle, which was heading west on Devon
