A woman was struck and later died after a 13-old-boy bumped the gear shift of his
father's pickup truck, then accidentally hit the gas pedal trying to stop it.
The father, a metal picker, had gotten out of his truck in
an alley in the 4400 block of South St. Louis Avenue around 7:15 a.m.
The woman, identified as Ruilan Zeng, 61, who lived in the 4500 block of
South St. Louis, was declared dead at 5:25 p.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital.
The boy was
sitting in the passenger seat and knocked the truck into gear.
When the truck started rolling, the boy got into the driver's seat to stop it
and hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. The truck lurched
forward and hit a garage and then the woman as she was walking.
The truck hit another garage before stopping.
The driver was cited for leaving a running vehicle unattended and for driving
with a suspended driver's license.

Death has opened its mouth with a hunger deep inside, any place any race no one can hide. As sure as we live, we all have to go, we strive and manuever to make it slow. The material world is taking a toll, at the end of the day, all you have is your soul.
Demecrats do not care if we starve while food prices goes up
METAL PICKER ? ALUMINUM CANS ??????
So what, metal picking or aluminum cans. He was trying to make a few dollars. It was clearly an accident, but he should have turned the truck off. You better hope one day you don't have to pick up metal, I mean crushed cans with your rich self. Or are you just too embarrassed.
