2 men shot in EnglewoodA shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. in the Englewood neighborhood. Two 26-year-old men were on a porch in the 7000 block of South Emerald Avenue when someone approached on foot and shot them.
One of the men suffered several gunshot wounds to the leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.
The other was grazed in the head and taken to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where his condition was stabilized.
2 men shot in Garfield ParkTwo 24-year-old men were shot about 3 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Van Buren Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. One of the men was struck in the upper back and the other was shot several times in the torso.
Both were taken to Mount Sinai and listed in serious condition
37-year-old man shot in Gage ParkAt about 11:30 p.m., someone opened fire toward a group of people standing in the 5200 block of South Maplewood Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood.
A 37-year-old man was struck in the leg and taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
