Tow trucks spent hours overnight removing more than 80 cars and trucks from an auto lot in the West Englewood neighborhood after police found stolen vehicles, parts and equipment there.
Vehicles were still being towed from the lot in the 6400 block of South Bell Avenue this morning, but police said they had not determined yet how many of them were stolen. Many of them appeared damaged.
Police executed a search warrant about 8 p.m. Wednesday after a GPS on a stolen car led officers to the lot. The lot's owner was arrested.
