A south suburban Burnham man died Sunday night after leaning out of a moving car on South Side and hitting a parked car.
The victim was identified as Orlando Mayo, Jr., 30, of the 2700 block of East 142 Street, who was pronounced dead at 7:54 p.m. Sunday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The incident happened about 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of East 79th Street in the city’s South Shore neighborhood.
The victim was a front-seat passenger inside a westbound red 1987 Chevrolet Caprice, he stuck his body out of the car window and hit a parked car.
The victim was ejected and the Caprice struck another parked car before fleeing the scene. Mayo was taken to Northwestern hospital
