Man killed, woman wounded in Dan Ryan Expressway shooting

A man died and a woman survived a gunshot wound to the chest on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Sunday morning near 71st Street.
The shooting happened between 1 and 1:10 a.m. on the "slip" ramp between 71st Street and 75th Street on the southbound side of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
A third person in the car, a man, survived.
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the dead man as 27-year-old Fredrick Taylor, of the 14000 block of Atlantic Avenue in Riverdale. He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 3:14 a.m.
