Man found found dead with head trauma in Park Manor apartment

A 39-year-old man was found dead from blunt force trauma to his head in an apartment in the Park Manor neighborhood.
Police were called to the 6800 block of South Martin Luther King Drive at about 12:12 p.m..
The man's roommate found the man unresponsive and called police
The man was identified as Raphael Smith, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. The office said that the man appeared to have experienced trauma to his head.
When police arrived in the first floor apartment at that location they found the man dead
