A California man died early this morning after falling on the tracks at the Addison Red Line stop in Wrigleyville.
The man, identified as Otis Carmichael, 44, of West Covina, California, was declared dead at 2:16 a.m. at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. The man died after making contact with the third rail at the "L" stop at 940 W. Addison St..
The man was with a family member when he fell on the tracks
