Man critically wounded on West Side
A 24-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting in the North Austin neighborhood this morning.
The shooting happened at about 10:17 a.m. on the 5700 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue.
The man sustained a gunshot wound to the had and was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr., Hospital of Cook County in critical condition
