At 4:54 p.m. an 18-year-old woman, a 15-year-old boy, an 18-year-old man, and a 20 and 21-year-old man were shot during a possible drive-by attack in the 5700 block of South Sangamon Street.
The woman has died.
Two were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, while two others were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the fire department. The 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the knee and was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital

Its not safe to hang out no more on the streets, that's y I avoid walking and standing outside with kuys cause u never no who they might be into it with, by me being with this person I end up getting shot ,, I had a Kuy friend that came to pick me up da other day and all he wanted to do was drive around and sit on the block I had to tell him to take me home cause I don't sit on blocks its to dangerous so with that being said lady's don't associate urself and put urself in a horrible situation were u putting ur life in danger be a lady and stop standing out on the blocks with gangbangers
