The body of a Far South Side man who went missing while swimming this afternoon in the Calumet River has been found Tuesday night.
The victim is a man in his 30s who was pronounced dead on the scene about 8 p.m. Tuesday. The office was not releasing the man's identity .
He was pulled from the water near 134th Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The incident began at 2 p.m. at 137th Street and Hoxie Avenue in the Hegewisch neighborhood.
