A man was shot and fatally wounded in the Grand Crossing neighborhood this
morning.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious-to-critical
condition following the shooting about 8:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of South
Dorchester Avenue. The
victim was believed to have suffered at least two gunshot wounds.
The man was identified as Robert Gholson, 28, of the 1300 block of East 74th
