21-year-old woman shot in Rogers Park
A 21-year-old woman was shot in the neck as she rode in a car early Sunday morning
in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
Several people were in the car when a male shooter approached on foot and started firing about 12:15 a.m.
After the shooting, which happened near the intersection of West Rosemont and North Claremont avenues, the car's driver sped into an alley just east of North Western Avenue.
As the car was moving through the alley, it crashed into another vehicle, and its occupants, including the woman who had been shot, took off running.
The woman was brought to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where her condition was stabilized
19-year-old man shot in Back of the Yards
At 4:55 a.m. a 19-year-old man was shot in the 4500 block of South Paulina
Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The man had been in a vehicle when a second vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking the 19-year-old in the shoulder.
The man was taken in good condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County
Man shot in Englewood
Also Sunday morning, a male was shot in the leg shortly before 4 a.m. near South
Morgan and West 70th street a 44-year-old man was shot in the leg about 3:55 a.m. near South Morgan and West
70th streets in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side. The man was on a sidewalk when he tried to
intervene in a fight between two other males one of those males
pulled out a gun and started firing in the direction of the victim before
fleeing the scene.
The victim was hit in the upper right leg and was transported to Advocate
Christ Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized
20-year-old man shot in Gage Park
A 20-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the leg about 5:23 a.m. in the
3500 block of West 58th Place in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest
Side. He was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, where
his condition has stabilize
35-year-old man shot in Back of the Yards
About 6:30 a.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in the hand in the 4900 block of
South Throop Street. He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good
condition.

There were 5 gunshots at around 4:30AM in the alley of 4900 N Monticello Ave (60625) Heard some voices and a woman saying "oh my God he's ****ing dead". A police car rushed through the alley a minute after the gunshots were fired. No other updates so far.
