Two officers were injured in a crash that ended a chase in Englewood early
Thursday morning.
The Chicago police police department SUV and a four-door sedan it had been
chasin both crashed into an Englewood home at the corner of
73rd and Morgan streets.
The officers were taken to area hospitals but their conditions weren't
available.
The chase started with a shooting on 87th Street between Loomis Boulevard and
Ada Street about 1:55 a.m. - somone shot toward Golden Girls lounge and hit two
cars parked out front.
Officers saw the shooting from the car and a chase ensued.
Nobody else was injured but police found about a dozen casings at the
scene.
Officers pursuing a car saw someone toss a gun out the window and the gun was
later recovered.
A man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested after the chase
