Man shot in Longwood Manor

Police say a man was sitting in his car when someone shot him about 11:30 Tuesday on the South Side.
The 27-year-old man was parked in the 9800 block of South Halsted Street in the Longwood Manor neighborhood when someone pulled up, got otu of a car and opened fire.
He was hit in the arm and back and drove away.
Police said he flagged them down in the 1800 block of West 87th Street in the Gresham neighborhood, and from there he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition.

30 year old man shot in Humboldt Park

At about 10:00 a.m. a man in his 30s walked into John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County after someone shot him in the stomach.
He told police he was in the 1300 block of North Monticello Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood about 5:30 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain.
