Chicago police detectives and the Cook County medical examiner's office were
investigating the death of a newborn baby found in a toilet at a Roseland
neighborhood home this evening.
The full-term girl, believed born this evening, was dead on the scene at a
home in the 200 block of West 112th Street.
A 16-year-old girl gave birth to the baby, who was found unresponsive in the
toilet about 5:34 p.m.
