Man shot in Lawndale
At about 2:50 a.m., a man in his 40s showed up at Rush University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the hip.
Police believe the man had been shot in the 1600 block of South Kedvale Avenue
Teen shot on Far South Side
A 17-year-old boy was being treated for a gunshot wound on the South Side this afternoon.The shooting happened at about 12:30 p.m. in an alley on the 11700 block of South Normal Avenue.The boy sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder. Officials said that the teen was taken to Roseland Hospital for treatment.
