Youth shot, seriously wounded in Gresham
A 17-year-old boy was shot and seriously wounded in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side this afternoon. Someone in a passing vehicle opened fire and shot the 17-year-old boy in the arm and torso in the 2100 block of West 85th Street.
About 2 p.m. paramedics responded and took the victim, who was under age 16, to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.
Man shot on North Side
A man was shot and wounded in the Buena Park neighborhood this afternoon. The victim was taken from the 700 block of West Gordon Terrace to Weiss Memorial Hospital in fair-to-serious condition following the shooting a little before 1 p.m.. The man was shot in the buttocks
