A 30-year-old southwest suburban man has died after being shot New Year’s Day while sitting in his vehicle on Chicago's South Side.
Myron Brown, of the 7300 block of West 71st Street in Bridgeview, was pronounced dead at 8:35 p.m. Saturday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Brown was shot about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 1 while sitting in a vehicle in the 8700 block of South Honore Street in the Greshman neighborhood.
An unknown shooter approached the driver's side of his vehicle and fired shots, striking Brown multiple times
