A 55-year-old woman died Saturday night after being stabbed multiple times in an apparent domestic dispute in the South Chicago neighborhood on the South Side.
Authorities were searching for the woman's daughter, who was considered a suspect.
The 25-year-old daughter fled the scene on foot before police arrived.
Police were called to a home in the 8300 block of South Kingston Avenue about 6:45 p.m..
The 55-year-old woman had been stabbed multiple times and was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
She was pronounced dead at 7:26 p.m. at Northwestern Memorial

The woman's 25-year-old daughter fled before police arrived and was later taken into custody.
No charges had been filed as of early Sunday.

Crazy I mean that was your mother how you going live the rest of your life knowing you killed your mother, you could have just walked away & out the door that wasn't necessary "smdh"
