A 25-year-old man shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood died before he could make it to a hospital this morning.
The victim was found about 7 a.m. outside in the 1500 block of North Talman Avenue on the West Side. Someone shot the man in the chest.
He was pronounced dead at 7:17 a.m. in an ambulance as Chicago Fire Department personnel were taking him to Norwegian-American Hospital
