Man wounded in West Side shooting
A man was wounded this afternoon in a shooting on the West Side in the city's
Austin neighborhood.
The shooting happened about noon on the 4800 block of West Rice Street.
According to preliminary reports, a man was shot in his groin area and taken
to Mount Sinai Hospital.
