Authorities have charged a 32-year-old Chicago resident with fatally stabbing a man who reportedly intervened to protect a woman during a dispute Wednesday evening in the South Side's Rosemoor neighborhood.
Demetrius Jackson, of the 10300 block of South Forest Avenue, turned himself
in to police Friday and was charged with first-degree murder in the killing
of William Terry, 55.
Terry died after being stabbed multiple times Wednesday evening on the block
of South Forest where Jackson lives.
