Drunk dumb ass charged after throwing beer bottles, attacking cops

A 24-year-old man was charged with attacking a police officer and resisting arrest as they were responding to a call of an intoxicated man throwing beer bottles early Sunday.
Orlando Flores, of the 3500 block of West McLean Avenue, was charged with aggravated batter of a police officer, a felony, criminal damage to property criminal damage to government property, resisting a police officer and reckless conduct.
Police responded to the area of Kimball and Milwaukee avenues about 2:30 after someone reported the 24-year-old man chucking beer bottles, police said. Flores yelled "fuck the pigs" as police pulled up and threw an empty red beer bottle at a van as they approached.
Flores got on his bicycle and tried to pedal away and police gave chase through side streets and alleys. He tried to throw the bike in front of responding marked police vehicle, whose driver swerved to avoid it and hit a metal pole.
Police followed Flores into the CTA Blue Line station at Milwaukee and Spaulding avenues and police chased him down the stairs and arrested him at the bottom.
While they were putting him in the car, he kicked one of the officers in the chest, leaving a bootprint on the officer's vest and scratching his arm in the process. The officer's wounds were not serious
