Boy, 13, shot in the back in the Gresham neighborhood

A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after sustaining two gunshot wounds to his back in the Gresham neighborhood.
The teen was outside on the 8600 block of South Aberdeen Street when he was approached by someone who opened fire and then fled.
The shooting happened shortly after 7 p.m. The teen was taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital where his condition had stabilized
